281006282 ,0281002246 INTAKE MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR MAP MB Application: 0281002246 (also printed 281006282 on newer labels) is a combined intake-manifold absolute-pressure (MAP) and temperature sensor fitted to Mercedes-Benz Atego 1, Atego 2, Axor, Econic, Unimog U300/U400/U500, Citaro MUE and Setra S 415 coaches built 1998-2014. It screws into the plastic intake manifold just before the throttle body and supplies a 0 – 5 V PWM signal to the Bosch EDC-ECU for boost control, EGR metering and fan-clutch engagement. Typical fleet engines are OM 904 LA (125 kW), OM 906 LA (170 – 205 kW) and OM 924 LA (175 kW), making the sensor common to 7.5 t – 18 t rigid trucks, city buses and special-purpose vehicles such as airport sweepers and fire tenders.
