Typical power ratings range 80 kW (109 hp) to 195 kW (265 hp). The probe is mounted on the DPF canister and connected by two 4 mm stainless steel pipes (upstream and downstream of the filter element). The ECM uses the differential signal to calculate soot load, trigger active regeneration and illuminate the DPF warning lamp when the measured ΔP exceeds 180 mbar (threshold varies by software).
