Application
T408845 is a common-rail solenoid injector built for Perkins 1106C-E66TA/TAG and 1106D-E70TA/TAG six-cylinder diesels as well as Caterpillar C7.1 industrial engines; it is therefore fitted to 80–250 kVA generator sets (FG Wilson P88-5, P110-5, Atlas-Copco QAS 200), Liu-Gong CLG835/842/856 wheel loaders, 920/925 excavators, JCB 531-70 tele-handlers and MF 4300 series tractors that share the same 6.6–7.0 L platform

Material & performance features
Valve body is vacuum-hardened 18CrNiMo7-6 steel, chrome-plated stem Ra 0.2 µm to resist abrasion from low-sulphur diesel; nozzle tip is diamond-turned and DLC-coated to 2500 HV, giving >8 000 h service before hole erosion reaches 5 %; high-speed solenoid armature is encapsulated in fluorosilicone to achieve IP67 against pressure-wash and salt-spray; each injector is end-of-line tested for delivery, leakage and back-flow, guaranteeing ±3 % fuel quantity spread over the full 800–2 200 bar range and ensuring smoke-free idle down to 650 rpm.
