Application:
0045455514 is a 24 V oil-pressure / air-pressure break switch installed on Mercedes-Benz heavy-duty trucks including Actros MP2/MP3 (2002-2011), Atego II, Axor, Econic and Zetros as well as Setra and Evobus coaches. It is mounted on the oil filter flange or on the compressed-air service-brake manifold and signals the dash control unit when oil pressure drops below 0.3 bar (engine-idle) or when air pressure falls under 5.5 bar (brake-circuit), triggering the red stop-lamp and protecting the engine or brake system.
