Oil Pressure Sensor T421762 is calibrated for the Perkins 400 Series engines—specifically the 403D-07, 403D-11, 403D-15, 403D-15T, 403D-17, 403F-15, 404A-22, 404D-22, 404D-22T and 404D-22TA turbocharged diesel variants (2.2 L to 4.4 L). Housing is precision-turned from brass alloy and nickel-plated for complete immunity to engine oil, diesel fuel and road salt; the sensing element is a laser-welded 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) stainless-steel diaphragm with thick-film strain gauges for excellent long-term stability. Internal circuitry is protected by a two-stage over-voltage clamp and EMI filter compliant with SAE J1113-42, vibration-tested 50 g at 20–2 000 Hz, thermal-shock-tested 1 000 cycles –40 °C↔+130 °C, salt-spray-tested 96 h per ASTM B117, ensuring reliable low-oil-pressure warning and engine protection.
