Application:Water Temperature Sensor 2848A126 is purpose-built for the Perkins 1103-33, 1104-44 and 1104D-44T turbocharged diesel engines (3.3 L and 4.4 L). These engines are fitted to Massey Ferguson 2400, 3400 and 5400 series agricultural tractors, MF 5700 SL orchard and vineyard tractors, mid-range combine harvesters, irrigation-pump sets, 50–120 kVA generator sets for prime or standby power, plus compact wheel loaders, skid-steer loaders and 7- to 14-ton hydraulic excavators used in construction and landscaping operations worldwide.
Technical specifications:
Thread geometry M14 × 1.5 parallel with 19 mm hex and 18 mm probe reach for direct insertion into the cylinder-head coolant gallery. Sensing range –40 °C to +140 °C via a precision NTC thermistor calibrated 2 500 Ω @ 20 °C, 300 Ω @ 80 °C, 120 Ω @ 110 °C, tolerance ±2 %.
Material & performance features:
Probe body is precision-machined from 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) stainless steel for complete immunity to glycol, long-life organic-acid coolants and galvanic corrosion; a copper crush-washer and fluorosilicone O-ring ensure leak-free sealing up to 3 bar system pressure.
